About the Author
My name is Haaris Chohan, a 22-year-old university student from Birmingham, England, currently studying Sports Coaching and Physical Education. Claws of Dominion began as a passion project in the summer of 2023, when I rediscovered my love for reading through series like The Hunger Games, Narnia, and The Maze Runner. That summer reignited a creative spark, and I had an epiphany. What if could do this? So I took one look at my cat while brainstorming and I came up with the premise of Claws of Dominion.
Influenced by the political intrigue of Game of Thrones—my all-time favourite show— and the brutality of The Hunger Games plus my fascination with big cat documentaries, I created a fantasy world ruled by four powerful clans: Lion, Tiger, Cheetah, and Leopard. Claws of Dominion blends medieval politics with action, survival, and family drama in a high-stakes, fantasy setting.
This is the first book in an ongoing series, ending on a major cliff hanger—and I’m currently hard at work on the sequel. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed bringing it to life.
More about me:
I am an avid Manchester United fan (endured a very depressing decade).
I have a cat called Loki who inspired the whole series.
It took me a year and a half to complete the manuscript and even longer to design the novel.
I am obsessed with movies and tv shows always looking for new things to enjoy.
